My Siamese Poem

My Siamese walks around the house

Nosing into this and that, She thinks she is a human

And certainly not a cat.

Whatever is mine, 

She thinks is hers

Of course she can talk me into anything with her purrs

She peers at me through those lovely Blue Eyes

After getting into trouble 

Her Siamese voice denies

I am totally captivated by her charming ways and cunning

It s hard to be angry at a cat who is so stunning

Her long and slender body

Glides gracefully through the room

She suddenly  jumps

on the stand,, the lamp comes down with a BOOM!

I left her down from the stand

Gently scold her, to no avail, She quickly runs away:then balances herself on the stair rail.

“OH Siamese kitty what will you do next?……I ask……

She jumps onto my lap, giving me LOVE: that’s her next task

If it is a Siamese Cat with which you are living

It is important that you are, 

A person who is FORGIVING.

My Siamese can be bossy and rule the roost

But, when I am feeling down she gives me a BOOST.

Whether a Siamese is Chocolate, Blue, Lilac, or Seal

Having a Siamese around is always a good Deal.

So if you don’t have a Siamese

You had better go one.

And know that life with a Siamese

IS more INTERESTING AND FUN!!
